Extract Text

DocMorph's Text Extraction facility uses optical character recognition (OCR) to convert scanned images to text. The Text Extraction facility can also extract text from any of the list of over 50 files that DocMorph is able to process.

Please Note: The Text Extraction function may produce errors depending on the quality of the scanned image. Factors governing reliability include scan resolution, print to background contrast, and font size. For best results, always scan pages using a resolution of 300 dots per inch or greater.

>>>Users with large scale conversion needs may wish to download the free MyMorph version 2 software for converting anywhere from one file to hundreds of files at a time to text.

Instructions for Extracting Text

  1. Choose the File path of the file (e.g., Where is the file located?)
  2. Choose the File's primary language.  This will tend to improve the reliability of character recognition.
  3. Click Submit
